The aim of this course is to raise awareness of the potential hazards and risks associated with pesticide use and to provide practical information with regards to safe chemical handling and application. In addition this course introduces pesticide users to the principles of calibration. Participants will be expected to calibrate a piece of hand held equipment such as a knapsack, drench gun or injectable.

ChemCert AQF3 accreditation is nationally recognised for five years and enables the holder to legally use restricted chemicals unsupervised.

When: Thursday, 31 October. 8:30am to 4:30 pm. Lunch, morning and afternoon tea provided.

NGINA member credit can be applied to cover the cost of this training. Trading members receive $125, Enterprise members $250 and Corporate members $500 to be used towards training workshops delivered by NGINA.
