NGINA offers Company Director Training opportunity
As a commitment to developing the knowledge and capability of its members and investing in the future of the industry, the NGINA is subsidizing attendance for four members at a Company Director training course at its Kenthurst office on Friday, 3 May.
“If you are interested in learning more about the governance and compliance requirements for Directors of Boards or want to gain the currency of knowledge to determine strategy and develop the tools you need to better monitor your own businesses’ financial performance and risk management then this course will be of vital benefit,” said Ray Lee, General Manager, NGINA.
“This program would normally cost in excess of $1,500.00 to participate in, however the NGINA will provide a $750.00 enrolment (a 50 percent subsidy) for the first four member participants who confirm their attendance and payment. In addition the 2019 NGINA education and training credit can be redeemed for enrolment.”
“Undertaking this course will present multiple benefits, with member participants acquiring the knowledge to not only develop their own business but also by contributing to the industry by possibly assuming a Board Directors position in the future”, commented Mr Lee.
Participants will partake in the course, alongside the NGINA’s current Board Directors and a pre-program survey will be required in order to understand participants existing knowledge of responsibilities and accountabilities of a Company Director.
The program, conducted by The Right Mind Learning, will include modules on:
1) Understanding the accountabilities and responsibilities of a Company Director.
2) The legal aspects of being a Company Director.
