Nominations open for NGINA Board of Directors

The Nursery and Garden Industry NSW & ACT (NGINA) is seeking nominations for THREE Directors from our membership for the 2019-2021 term.

Directors will contribute to setting the strategic direction of the Association and advise on governance, policy and financial direction. Director commitments include attendance at seven meetings per annum. 

The vacancies are due in part, to current President Ian Rogan resigning from the role in November to pursue other interests, and the expiration of the term of current Director, Stephen Solomons. Stephen is able to stand for re-election.

The terms of incumbent Directors Jamie Larnach, David Jakobs, Des Leeke, Malcolm Calder and Nichole Roberts remain unchanged as their service period is mid-term.

Nominations are open to financial members of the NGINA and must be submitted on the Director Nomination form. It is important to provide an answer to all questions and a recent photograph of the candidate is required.

Completed forms can be returned via email to info@ngina.com.au or post to PO Box 345 Kenthurst NSW 2156. 

Nominations from financial members will close on Friday, 18 October 2019 at 4 PM.

An election will be required if the number of nominations received exceeds the number of vacancies. Should this occur, ballot papers will be issued on Friday, 25 October 2019 and voting will close on the Friday, 8 November 2019 at 4.00 PM.
